Now I want to talk about Kombucha. Which is obviously entirely unrelated to those Banana Oatmeal Cookies, however I know you won't obey.

Let me begin by saying that my husband drinks apple cider vinegar mixed with water every morning to decrease inflammation or something like this.

He claims it is magical. I claim it's nasty.

While I know this is going to seem spectacular (because it is)I actually dry heave in the sight and smell of the morning ritual to a daily basis. He loves that about me personally.

Based on this reaction, an individual would believe that I would stay far away from Kombucha, directly? I suggest, after all, it certainly comes with a vinegary tang.

But for whatever reason, I keep trying it. I Wish to enjoy it SO DANG BAD.

These Banana Oatmeal Cookies are super easy to make and filled with banana taste.

I am literally a marketer's dream cause each and every time I see someone I know loving a sip, or simply denying their favorite brand and flavor with a boomerang on Instagram, I am all,"Perhaps you will really taste acceptable!" .

Just imagine me with air quotes around the term appreciating because I believe it is hard to believe this stuff is actually enjoyable in almost any sense of the term.

Along with spoiler alert. Not one of them taste great. None.

Even those which people claim are mild are a large contraceptive for me personally. They taste just like freaking bubbly vinegar.

I am basically sure that anyone who drinks this brewed tea stuff has zero taste buds, or severely funky ones.

I have literally tried each and every brand that my local marketplace carries and that I HATED, not disliked, HATED every single one.

While I'm not promising these banana oatmeal biscuits will be the least bit healthy (cause hello butter and sugar ), I'm claiming they are delicious.

They have the perfect amount of banana flavor and a lovely chewy feel as a result of the oats. The chocolate chips are just an additional bonus.

A FEW NOTES ABOUT THESE BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES

These Banana Oatmeal Cookies have a soft, chewy texture. If you're looking for a traditional oatmeal cookie, then this isn't the cookie you're searching for. However, you should definitely check out my Homemade Oatmeal Cream Pies and also these Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. If you're not a fan of oatmeal biscuits my favourite chocolate i loved this chip biscuits, you may just become your new fave.

I like these biscuits somewhat on the back side side, so that I bake them for 9 or 10 seconds. If you want them to be cooked through, I'd take for 10-11 seconds.

BANANA OATMEAL COOKIES



PRINT RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup unsalted butterat room temperature

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1 large egg

3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)

1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 cup pops flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 tsp salt

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon





DIRECTIONS:





Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then mix in the egg until completely incorporated. Scrape the sides of the bowl and add the mashed bananas and vanilla.

In a medium bowlwhisk together the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

Gently add the bread mixture to the banana mixture and mix until just combined.

Scrape the sides of the bowl and then stir to recombine.

Stir in the oats and chocolate chips and blend until incorporated.

Use a moderate cookie scoop (about 1.5 tbsp ) to scoop the dough on prepared cookie sheets leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.

Bake in preheated oven for 9-11 minutes.

Remove cookies from the oven and lightly press the shirts of each cookie using the bottom of a drinking glass. Considering these cookies do not spread considerably, this will give them a traditional cookie form.
